Survey results 2020

Hello!
Here I'm posting the results of the MG server survey of 2020.


31 people have participated in this survey.

How satisfied are you with the following:

★ Homepage
45,2% (14 people) are very satisfied with our homepage and 32,3% (10 people) are satisfied. Meanwhile there's 16,1% (5 people) that are neutral and 6,4% (2 people) are unsatisfied. This means that in general our homepage is good and people like it. But we always accept suggestions to improve anything, homepage included so if you feel that it needs changes, please say so.

★ Forum
41,9% (13 people) are very satisfied with our forum, 48,4% (15 people) are satisfied and 9,7% (3 people) are neutral. This is a very good result and I'm happy that it's like this.

★ Server
77,4% are very satisfied or satisfied with our server. This is great and it means that all the work to improve it is worth it. However there's an average of 7,5% that is unsatisfied. So please feel free to suggest anything you'd like to improve.

★ Server Games
74,2% are very satisfied or satisfied with our server games. 22,6% are neutral. I can say that result is not bad at all.

★ Discord
Basically, this got the same results as the server games, so over 70% is satisfied while some are neutral. I think it's fine too.

★ User Control Panel
UCP fared better than other categories, reaching almost 78% of people satisfied.

How satisfied are you with the following:

♥ Server Administrators (moderators-administrators-head administrators)
More than half survey's participants are satisfied with the admins team, but there are some negative responses too. The full results will be shown to the staff members only and we will discuss about those.


♥ Management Team
Seems like most of people are satisfied with managers work, but this also will be not discussed in public.

Do you know which manager to contact if you need assistance?

Almost 78% know which manager to contact if they need help, but some seem still confused. HERE you can find the tasks of each manager, check them out just passing above the mouse on the managers.

》All open text questions results about the administrators team and managers will be not showed here because some replies can be either offensive, provocative or private. But everything has been readed and we will work to improve if it's necessary.《

Do you like the recent server updates?

43,2% like them, while others think that there are too many bugs and more updates and new things are needed.

People always want new things so I can understand that. Bugs are normal and they aren't absolutely intentional and/or predictable, we are always working on fixing wrong things so please keep reporting in forum if you see some bugs.

Do you report on forums if you see a glitch or a map error?

More than half use to report such problems, but too many still don't. We can't fix all of them if we don't get informed, as we can't see every glitch or map error. Please report and be patient, all we want is a smooth game and your help is precious.

Do you feel there are a lot of bugs/glitches in our server?

Almost 75% said no, others said yes. As I said above, keep reporting if you see anything weird.

Is there anything you feel we should remove from the server? (not games)

The majority replied with "No" or "Nothing", but some complained about VIP system. This is discussed in the survey HERE so if you haven't done it yet, say your opinion there.

Is there anything you would like us to add to the server?

Beremix replied here:

- Votekick will not be added for normal players. Maybe for Respected players in the future only.
- It's so many years since we've had the lottery system, that I don't even remember it. But I will consider adding back a new and better lottery system.
- There can't be more weapons in the /shop as all weapons are used either in normal weapon shop, VIP weapons or Respected weapons.
- Adding a chill area to arena will be considered (beach)
- There are several suggestions saying that we should add new gamemodes etc, but if you want that, then you should make a map and suggest a new mode, then we might add it.
- /radio is already available and there are various stations to listen to there.
- We will consider adding bug reports to discord instead of the forum. This will simplify things more.
- There ain't possible to add a better hit system, as it's the same as whole sa-mp. Blame the sa-mp sync that sucks generally.
- Hitsound for admins are already available.
- Celebration of other religion parties can be considered and will be discussed with the Management Team.

Do you feel we have too many games or should we add more?

45,2% said to add more maps, while 58,8% said to don't add more maps but to replace bad maps with something new. I personally agree with the second option. Quality over quantity.

Do you feel we have too many games of some categories?

45,2% said no, 58,8% said yes. This is a divided opinion that probably depends on which category you're thinking of.

Your favorite game category?

The most voted categories are races, last man standing, deathmatch and team deathmatch games. Followed by parkour, deathrun and last team standing. Zombie games is the less voted one.

Your least favorite game category?

Zombie got most votes. Followed by deathmatch levels, races and deathmatch games. The less voted are heist, derby and delivering games.

Do you have suggestions of stuff we should do related to our games?

The Games Managers & Scripters will have a good look into the replies here, and take actions where actions should be taken.

What is your favorite game? Only one.

This question was a complete failure cause we got all different replies (lol). Glad to have such variety though

Are you a server vip?

24 people said no, 7 said yes.

Do you think the vip prices are too high?

26 people said no, 5 said yes.

Do you have suggestions for more vip features?

➤ "Yes, 1: Vips must have authority to use vehicles while capturing boxes,flags etc. 2: you must add Rocket Launcher, Grenades for vip shop. 3: They must receive 2 pancakes in every 5minutes."
➣ I don't like this idea. It's definitely too unfair if VIP would be able to use a vehicle while capturing any object. They must run or get a ride like others, to make the game balanced.

➤ "Hey hey !! Try adding new features and changing the style of commands currently on the server! (Some are trivial and unhelpful) I think a lot of commands should and should be added for VIP! Like special weapons for VIP! I think that there are no special weapons for them! And regular weapons are more powerful than VIP list! Also, respect players are better then VIP Vehicles! I request you to change that style and add special features and better VIPs to increase your popularity! Thank you"
➣ We can work on shop items, they can improve for sure. Giving ability to VIPS to change their color can be considered and discussed! Stylish vehicles when spawned could be an idea. Maybe adding pre-defined settings will come on each vehicle you spawn in. We will also have a look at all shop items, and check if VIP weapons/vehicles should be switched with Respected weapons/vehicles.

➤ "Make the VIP spawn-armor toggleable via UCP or in-game command. So, if the VIP (like permanent VIP) wanna play without armor for fair fight, they can toggle their spawn armor off for some time."
➣ I don't fully dislike this, I also wish to play without armor sometimes. However I don't know if it can be done.

Is there something you don't like about vips?

Most of people said "No".
Many complained about bombs in races. Well, I agree. They are so annoying and ruin the game for the ones that hit that. I'd say that it should be changed with an obstacle that slows you down or sets your car on fire but gives you the chance to repair it and keep going on, instead of blowing you up and making you restart the race. It made me rage quit many times and I'm not the only one I believe.

How often do you login to the user control panel?

32,3% login daily to the UCP, while 41,9% monthly. Also here there are different responses but I was expecting less usage of the UCP. I find it a good result after all.

Do you have comments related to our user control panel? suggestions?

➤ "Being able to check more info about other players"
➣ Being able to check info about other players can be done via the homepage, so I don't see why it's needed via the UCP also.

➤ "You might add server tops there. Like who did most kills/who won more races/who has best ratio etc"
➣ Adding a detailed stats system, like how much score etc you did in a month sounds interesting and complex, but would be pretty cool. Will definitely check it out!

➤ "The previous version was more mobile-friendly. Also, the different Menus (Front page, Admin panel, Admin inbox...) are in a kind of Times New Roman font that does not fit the rest of the page. Before logging in, the "Front page" menu is in a nice suitable font, for example"
➣ That can be improved yeah. We will be looking into the UCP menu fonts and might change stuff there.

➤ "cookie shop / pizza shop. just like ig, but in ucp. Be able to see our progress via graphs ( intervals can be of weeks/months) in various regards like score, cookies, weapos stats
Like we can see the stats increasing as time passes, it would be really professional work if its possible."
➣ Cookie shop / pizza shop will be considered. Still if it's also available ingame, then it could also be available via the UCP.

How often do you check discord?

Most of people are active daily in our discord server, which is good.

Do you have comments related to our discord server? suggestions?

Discord is more active than forum by our current players. So we are considering to move other things to discord (instead of using the forum). For example like moving Suggestions & Bug Reports.

➤ "Be able to connect through discord to the server.You never know if someone is just using their pc, and see discord, and thinks of connecting. I mentioned it earlier as well, the link can be embedded too. (just like it is on mg-s.us)
Add information channels which give information about the game? not really required, but just something which can be done in free time.
Add #suggestions, having a slowmode ofcourse.
Make a bot which dms us if we don't visit ig/ forums for a given time.This can be added to ucp as well.Players can turn it off, ofc."
➣ Adding a direct link from discord to the server is not a bad idea to work on. But also a bot that sends you a private message when you don't connect in game or forum would be annoying, I think most of discord users don't want that at all.

➤ "Events on discord like weekly debates or games"
➣ That's not a bad idea either. It would require someone who's supervising it too, if it will be done.

How often do you check the homepage?

Homepage isn't visited as often as other things but 38,7% visit it daily.

Do you have comments related to our user homepage? suggestions?

In general, there aren't suggestions for it. Someone is suggesting to change colors but it's a small change that sometimes we do. I think it's fine.

How satisfied are you with the activity of the: Administrator Team

67,7% are satisfied or very satisfied with admins activity. Others are mostly neutral. I think that more activity would just be good, but since the server doesn't have big activity like in the past, I can understand that.

How satisfied are you with the activity of the: Management Team

71% are very satisfied or satisfied with management's activity. This is nice. Even if there's a small percentage that is unsatisfied, which is not good.

In total: How satisfied are you with Mini Games Server?

Over 80% are very satisfied or satisfied with MG server. This is something really great!
