Happy new year!

So here we are again. It’s the time of the year for my new year eve speech. This speech will be special, I thought a lot about it before starting to write it. As this year, has been busy, and a lot of hard work. If I could sum up this year with one word I would use: crazy.

In few days, it’s 5 years since I, Zezima & Dimi re launched Mini Games Server v2. It’s weird thinking that it has already passed 5 years. Time is moving on so quickly. And Mini Games Server in totally is 8 years old. I’ve been with Mini Games Server for 8 years. That’s a lot. So, let’s start looking back about stuff that happened this year.

Within the Management Team there has been a lot of changes. We lost good people, but we also got new people. Sadly, it has been hard to make a lot of them stay longer than I hoped. But life is more important than this game. 
We lost Scorpionn, Chanchito, BassLovah, Sak, Aaron, MichaelBelgium & Neefas. Honestly, I find it as way too many changes. But that’s how it goes. But when old managers leave, we get new fresh blood to the Management Team. This year Stefy also got promoted to Co-Owner of our server. This is a rank she fully deserves. She has done a lot to this server. And we love her for that. I don’t know what I would do without her on my side.

It’s not only the Management Team who has done a lot of good work for the server. What would we do without our admins who are online all the time protecting the server? I wish to give a special thanks to all our admins who are playing daily and weekly for us. Thanks! <3

In August I got an offer from KyleSmith to buy **** ********. This was an offer I wasn’t taking seriously in the beginning as I didn’t know what to do with it. Should I close it to benefit MG? No, I decided to buy It after some time speaking with Stefy and a lot of thinking. Instead of only benefitting MG, I thought we could benefit both servers. Make both servers even better. And that’s what I did. I don’t regret buying **, still if it hasn’t been such a success like I thought. But I haven’t given up, and I believe with Sasuke as a scripter we will be able to reach success again. But going from 5 players to 30 players takes time. It’s not a day work, it’s not only an update. It’s with the people working on the server and the whole theme. With time, I believe **** ******** will be a successful server again. And I got faith in it. I won’t give up like KyleSmith.
Buying **** ******** gave this community more players, but it also made our Management Team more effective. I have managers now who works on both servers, instead of only 1. It’s some more work, but it’s also more controlled work.

This month we got two new managers. One for **, and one for MG. Both are two guys I believe will work hard for the servers. Welcome to both!

We also got a map committee this year. By having a map committee we get even better missions / games in both servers. By having some picked people to consider the maps in a good way. This change is good for both servers.

Now it’s time to start considering 2017. What will happen? 
In a few days, there will be a completely new version in **. A version I believe will help to bring more players, as it will make them stay and make them enjoy the game. When players join a server a server they want a goal. They want something they will be able to reach by time and work. In the next update, they get that.

Also in a few days, a new homepage will be launched for **** ********. This homepage is made special for **, and will include more stuff than the current. And on the top, it’s not the same theme as Mini Games.

More stuff happening in 2017 I don’t know about yet. Obviously, I will continue working on MG, and Sasuke will continue working on **. There will be more updates and new stuff.

So, to end the new year eve speech it’s time to give something back to the players, as they give us something daily. It’s the players who gives us motivation and love to work on our servers. And we thank you for that:
In Mini Games Server, we wish to greet all players with 300 pancakes.
In **** ********, we wish to greet all players with a total of 1 million if you register your account when v11 is launched.

So what’s left for me to say is: have a beloved new year eve together with your family / friends.
