**** ******** have been sold

**** ******** have been sold to Redirect_Left.

On Wednesday, 28/8-2019 I was told by several Managers of **** ******** that a group called "** Reunion" wants to buy **** ********. I had heard about this group earlier, as they did join the server all together some weeks ago. So, I was shocked that Redirect_Left wanted to buy **. Redirect_Left is known as the owner of "Son of **** ********" (A previous server) and owner of "Sumo". So continues...
We were pretty unsure about this, as we had big hopes about merging MG & **, but at the same time, ** is important for both me and Stefy, and ofc the rest of the Management Team. So if they think they can save **, then go on.

Redirect_Left gave me a final offer today, and that's a offer that I have accepted. The reason for me accepting the offer is several reasons:
* If we declined the offer, then he would create "soMM" again, and that would result that the rest of the ** players we had, would leave us, which I didn't like.
* Redirect_Left has a fresh team who wants to retry to get ** back up again. If he thinks he can do it, then go on. 
* As we were gonna merge ** into MG anyway, then it wouldn't make a big difference for us. So in other words, this means we have now stopped the merge.

So, both me and Stefy have slept bad the last days. A dream has been closed for us. But at the same time, we are happy that we got 3 amazing years together with **. It has been an expeirence of a life time, and I love being owner of **, and I will truely miss it. At the same time I'm also satisfied with it being sold, and not closed. I'm busy in life, and I have a plan of stepping more and more down (not leaving, but giving more and more of my tasks to others), so I can focus on my life, as it's busy.

So what happens now?
* Together at the sale, then Redirect_Left got the server files, database, website(ucp etc), domain (**-ftw.net), and games. So if you try to join ** during the next week, then you won't be redirected here.
* The server is online right now. But it will be stopped during sunday when the move will be done.
* Sasuke will stay with MG. Hes gonna work together with me, to make the dream we had for MG & **, and attempt to make MG a no restart server and better.
* What happens with Ryses & Falcon? I assume Ryses will leave, and Falcon will most likely stay here.
* The admins of ** will be handled by Falcon, and will be offered to stay in MG if they want to.

I'm sad, and this is a sad day. I thank you all for everyhing, and wish you all the best forward.
There will be several changes on the forum during the next week to update it.

Good decision made in the end. I've been keeping up with this and I believe the right thing to do was sell it to the reunion guys. ** is a server a lot of us feel close to heart and on top of it it would seem wrong to break MG with ** styles.

Well that's a good way for ****-******** instead or merging everything into one server/name (in my opition).

It was a good decision. I wanted to log in ** but the server was always empty so i didnt log in at all. If the server becomes more active with ** being sold then its a good decision

good on him, but unless its for heritage purposes I don't really see the point in starting it elsewhere.

That is not true, and a good example of why anti-vaxxers continue to grow, a quick cursory Google search and a snap opinion from that.

Area 51 server I had was hugely popular, often managing over 100 players consistently, that was killed when SAMP stopped doing the 'official' tab it was on. Which is probably not even a known thing to most SAMP players now, it was so long ago. 
My old clan, Rollin' Patrol collapsed due to not my fault in 2009
I also had Son of ****-********, that only died when MID came back, and I honoured an agreement to take it down if the real original owner came back.
Sumo Server is still alive, and has been alive since 2007. I still update it usually at least twice a week, often more. 

I still have all the old files / code for those servers I have had that were successful, and those that died after only a few week, so I could even bring Area 51 back and try that again although I think it's mostly about role play now.

Yeah but my point is ** was also extremply popular 10 years ago.
But we are in 2019 and the player count is 0
Im not sure, a new owner will change that.
